South Col Route Camps:
Base camp: 17,060'/ 5200m
Everest base camp lies notice sheet at 5,200 meters from sea level, where you will spend up to 45 days. The Conditions in Everest Base Camp will stay steady during the climbing period and include stirring many tents and stages as the ice moves and melts. The territory is unforgiving yet delightful, encompassed by Pumori, Nuptse, Lola, Nutse, and the Khumbu Icefall with warm mornings and unexpected evening snow gusts. With such numerous endeavor groups at BC, it closely resembles a little town in the Himalayas.
C1: 19,357'/ 5900m
Arriving at C1 is the most specialized piece of a southside move since it crosses the Khumbu Icefall. The Icefall is 2,000′ feet of moving ice with profound chasms, transcending ice sera's and torrential slides off Everest's west shoulder. During the climbing period, we endeavor to go through just two evenings at Camp I for acclimation. If you have appropriate acclimatization, the game plans call you to go all over direct from camp II to security.
C2: 20,998'/ 6400m
Camp 2 lies in a sidelong moraine at the lower part of the west edge. It is a too protected and shielded area with huge perspectives on Lhotse. All organizations set-up their primary climbing camp for the climbing period's duration here with tents for individual climbers and kitchen and dining tents. Camp II is an essential acclimatization camp and the central command for focus III. The camp where you are spending the most time after base camp.
C3: 23,294'/ 7100m
Climbing the Lhotse Face to C3 is often tricky since almost all climbers feel the effects of high altitude and are not yet using supplemental oxygen. The Lhotse Face is steep, and the ice is hard, but the route fixed with rope, and the angles can range from 30 to 45 degrees. It is a long climb to C3 but required for acclimatization before a summit bid. You will spend two nights at camp three for acclimatization and the summit push.
South Col: 26,300'/ 8000m
Welcome to the moon—the Everest to the north and Lhotse on the south covered with loose rock. Located at the South Col is the last camp; most climbers are easily accessible without supplementary oxygen. There are two rock sections to navigate before camp 4: the Yellow Band, an inter-layer of marble, phyllite, semi schist rock, and the Geneva Spur, an anvil-shaped rib of black stone. Both of these areas are set-up with fixed ropes.
Summit: 29,032′/ 8848.86m
The last section from the South Col to the summit takes 09-13 hours to navigate. There is the Balcony, the Hillary Step, and the south summit before reaching the central panel. The route to the true summit is a moderate snow slope, and while tired, adrenaline keeps most climbers moving at this point.

If you have any doubts, we recommend first attempting a 7,000-meter peak in the Himalayas or even another 8,000-meter mountain before trying Everest. Strong preparatory choices include Mount Cho Oyu, Shishapangma (Xixiabangma as pronounced in Chinese), and Manaslu, all of which will truly test your endurance, skills, and decision-making ability and prepare for the Mt Everest expedition. The Himalayan peaks demand honesty – with yourself first, then with your climbing partners and the expedition organizer. At times during a climb, your life may depend on another person’s awareness and skill, just as their life may depend on yours.
Standing on the highest point on Earth is a lifelong dream for many adventure lovers. A Mount Everest expedition is a journey of self-discovery that tests the limits of both physical and mental endurance under the most extreme conditions on the planet. As you are a thrill-seeker and looking for a truly life-changing experience, there is no alternative in the world to climbing Mount Everest.
Since the beginning, reaching the top of Mount Everest has remained a powerful symbol of pride and courage – not only for individuals, but also for communities and even entire nations. Mount Everest continues to inspire people to dream bigger and achieve what once seemed impossible. The Himalayas are deeply respected as sacred in many beliefs and scriptures, making a Mount Everest expedition not only an adventure, but also a profound spiritual journey.
There is truly no other place and no other experience on earth that compares to standing on the summit of Mount Everest.
Climbing Mount Everest – the highest point on earth (8848.86 m / 29031.72ft) – requires power of high endurance, both mental and physical skills and strength. Practically for the success and safety, your previous experiences in rock climbing, snow and ice climbing or even high-altitude climbing experiences in the Himalayas will be beneficial. But, without previous experiences you can opt for our Guided Everest Expedition which is operated with the help of world-class Sherpa with your strong mental/physical preparation and trainings. These may include high VO2 max; strong legs, core, and shoulder; decision-making in extreme situations; strong emotional intelligence and judgements; and the positive mindset.
Mount Everest expedition is one of the most challenging undertakings because of extreme weather conditions, high altitude, and technical segments to climb. But, Mount Everest is less demanding in technical perspectives compared to Mount K2 and even Ama Dablam (6,812m / 22,349 ft) – being lower in altitude. Mount Everest has the most established route, support system, and logistics, thus the higher success rate and less objective risks.
As you know that summiting Mount Everest is one of the most challenging feats, your proper fitness and trainings matter for your success. So, we recommend you to undergo at least 6 months to 18 months’ training related to cardiovascular; body strength – specially legs, core, and upper body; hiking on mountainous terrains; technical mountaineering skills – such as ice climbing, rope work and others; mental preparation – emotional intelligence, decision-making under stressful conditions etc.
Government of Nepal (as you are in the South face Everest expedition page) restricts permit for Everest Expedition to the minors aged below sixteen years. Any climber/aspirer with appropriate fitness and skills can attempt to climb. However, our policy for accepting climbers for the Everest expedition requires previous experience of 6,000m to 7,000m (approx. 23,000 feet) peak climbing. Set of general skills and knowledge like rock/ice climbing; use of gears like ice axes and crampons; knowledge of ascend/descend on fixed lines will be taken into considerations.
We furthermore take the matter of your physical fitness very seriously as it puts yourself, your climbing partners, Sherpa in a safer situation.
Compared to most mountain expeditions around the world, climbing Mount Everest is undeniably expensive. However, for many climbers, the cost is justified by the once-in-a-lifetime adventure and the personal achievement of standing on the highest point on Earth. Ultimately, the value of an Everest expedition depends on one’s goals, priorities, and perspective. There is no doubt that it offers an experience unlike any other.
Several key factors contribute to high cost of an Everest expedition:
Government permits and fees: The Government of Nepal charges significant climbing permit fees, along with additional administrative and environmental charges.
Sherpa and support staff: Sherpa play a vital role in every Everest expedition. The number of experienced guides, support staff, and the climber-to-Sherpa ratio greatly affects the overall cost.
Oxygen and Mask Regulator Systems: The Mount Everest expedition has become safer and more achievable today due to the use of supplemental oxygen and modern breathing apparatus. However, these systems are extremely expensive and contribute significantly to the overall cost of the expedition. A climber typically uses 7–8 oxygen bottles during the ascent, while the accompanying high-altitude Sherpa guide generally uses 4–5 bottles. Each bottle costs approximately USD 500–600, including the expense of transporting it to higher camps where each bottle weighs 4 kg.
For safety reasons, we provide at least three sets of masks and regulators, which are shared between the climber and the Sherpa guide. In addition, spare bottles and emergency oxygen supplies are also carried. All of these — including regulators, masks, backup units, and transportation — add significantly to the total expedition cost.
High-quality mountaineering gear: Everest is one of the most demanding environments on the planet, requiring top-grade technical equipment and specialized clothing, which significantly increases expenses.
Transportation and logistics: Getting equipment and supplies to Everest Base Camp on the Nepal side is a complex logistical operation. Since the area is remote and inaccessible by road, all supplies must be flown in or carried by porters and pack animals.
Food and camp facilities: From base camp to higher camps, climbers are provided with specialized tents, cooking equipment, heating systems, and high-calorie meals over several weeks, all of which add to the total cost of the expedition.
There are hundreds of companies around the world that organize – or claim to organize – Mount Everest expeditions. Among them, choosing the right Everest guiding company is an arduous task – especially for the highest peak on Earth.
When selecting a reliable Everest expedition operator, you should consider factors such as its safety record and success rate with transparent statistics; experience in organizing Everest expeditions; the quality of Sherpa leadership and staff support; emergency response capability; ethics and sense of social responsibility; and professional handling of the trip from preparation to completion. We are one of the trusted Everest expedition operators for the last eighteen years.
There are more than 1,700 registered trekking and mountaineering operators in Nepal. However, only about 30 of these companies operate expeditions on 8,000m peaks on a regular basis, and we are proud to be one of the successful Everest expedition operator. We consistently run successful Everest expeditions year after year, along with other 8,000m, 7,000m, and 6,000m peak expeditions.
The company and expedition both led by an experienced mountaineer and industry leaders. Satori Adventures MD has been appointed as the Board Director of Nepal Tourism Board for the term (2024-27) honoring his contribution to the tourism industry and elected General Secretary of the Expedition Operators Association Nepal (EOA-Nepal) for the term (2023-27).
Moreover, we are a homegrown expedition operator from Nepal, with all professional climbing guides born and raised in the Himalayas. We do not simply “fill” expedition spaces; instead, we focus on forming a team of compatible climbers who show strong integrity, honesty, and trust in one another. We work on our philosophy of “High Success and High-Safety”.
You can find more information about our services, Sherpa support, logistics, management, and more in the following sections.
The expedition team leader who will lead you to the summit of Mount Everest is highly experienced, well-qualified, and have been working with us tirelessly for decades. Most were born in the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas and have spent their lives above 4,000 meters, which gives them unparalleled altitude adaptation and mountain knowledge.
Our expedition leaders have at least five successful Everest summits, strong high-altitude guiding experience on other 8000 m peaks, and excellent safety records. They possess deep knowledge of weather patterns, route management, and rescue procedures, along with strong leadership and communication skills. They are well-known in the mountain community for their excellent coordination with other expedition companies and are highly respected figures in mountain tourism. Their professionalism, patience, and respect toward every climber make them among the most trusted leaders on the mountain. They also have exceptional expertise in rope fixing and route opening, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency throughout the expedition.
Your personal Sherpa guide who assist you are certified mountain guides through the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and the Nepal Government, with advanced mountaineering training from NMA and other related trainings from Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM). Some of our guides are also certified through the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA). Every Sherpa leader and guide holds a valid Nepal Government license, Mountaineering Association accreditation, and official summit certificates. In addition, we provide extensive training to our Sherpa guides in technical mountaineering, English communication, customer service, and Wilderness First Aid, ensuring they are fully prepared to offer the highest level of safety and support on your Mount Everest expedition.
Most importantly, your Sherpa Guide already have three summit achievements on 8,000m peaks in the Himalayas before we assign them to an Everest expedition as a Guide with you. You can find detailed profiles and accomplishments of our Sherpa guides
know that complete safety can never be guaranteed in high-altitude mountaineering. This achievement is again the result of meticulous expedition planning, highly experienced Sherpa guides and their expert judgment, well-structured acclimatization schedules, up-to-date weather monitoring from reliable international services, small group sizes – limited to maximum of eight climbing members in a group – with personalized support, and follow strict safety protocols.
In addition to our impeccable safety record, Satori Adventures has one of the highest success rates in Mount Everest expeditions, currently standing at 90%. Climbing Mount Everest is an extreme high-altitude adventure where every decision can be a matter of life and death. We strive continuously to maximize the success rate of our Mount Everest expeditions.
We provide a consistently higher Sherpa/Guide ratio to climber – i.e. 1:1 ratio – better to other operators. Additionally, for safety and logistical reasons, each team is supported by one experienced Nepali expedition leader and one additional guide. This means that for every 7–8 climbers, there are ten highly trained Nepali climbing guides in total, ensuring maximum support, safety, and personalized assistance throughout the expedition.
Our lead guide is always equipped with a satellite phone during the climbing and at the base camp that enables a two-way radio communication between climbing members, guides, Sherpa and base camp staff.
First and the foremost safety measure in the high-altitude expedition is highly experienced and well trained Sherpa guide we put for your expedition. They can monitor conditions properly and have an excellent decision-making capacity in extreme situations. Our expedition program includes proper acclimatization so the risk will be lesser naturally. We back up emergency equipment such as supplemental oxygen, first-aid kits, communication devices properly. Your health from Base camp to the higher camps will be monitored through pulse oximeters, and symptom tracking to detect altitude-related illnesses. And, we have proper rescue-evacuation plan. At base camp, there will be all-time clinic (for climbing season) run by Himalayan Rescue Association with an expert team of Doctor’s specialized in high-altitude medicine.
Moreover, selection of camps on the mountain is a critical part of our safety precautions. The Advanced Base Camp will be established on a glacial moraine which is naturally protected from landslides and avalanches. We set up Camp I and II on generally safe areas; however, Camp I must be chosen carefully, as some spots are prone to heavy snow accumulation. We do select the best possible and safest available campsites. Camp III is below the Yellow Band on a steep slope which can be vulnerable to micro-avalanches.
We give utmost attention to every safety measure throughout your expedition supported by our experienced Sherpa guides and staff.
During the trek to the Base Camp you stay at the tea houses where you can pick your meal of choices from the menu provided. Tea houses in the Everest region are of good standard and quality.
From Base camp to the end of the expedition, you will enjoy nutritious, well-balanced meals – one of the most important components of summit success – prepared by our chef. We provide high calorie meals with all essential components: carbohydrates, protein, and fats – ensuring your stay energized throughout your climb.
We plan proper diet at higher camps (above 6,000 meters) where digestion slows and food varieties are limited. If you have any dietary concern, we take this into serious consideration and request you to inform us in advance.
As we have a trained and experienced high altitude expedition cooks, they serve you scrumptious, nutritious, and healthy food. We use fresh vegetables whenever possible and have an extensive culinary repertoire. You are in fact encouraged to request your personal favorites to maintain good appetite and ensure you get enough calories.
At higher camps we use freeze-dried packaged foods sourced from the USA or UK. These foods are high-quality, flavorful and easy to prepare at higher altitude. Your personal climbing Sherpa will melt sufficient ice for hot water, tee, coffee and a variety of juices. Different flavors of tea, coffee, snacks, juice and hot water will be available 24 hours a day ensuring you stay nourished and well hydrated throughout your expedition.
The Satori Adventures’ representative will be waiting you at the airport with your placard. Before you meet our representative, you are required to collect your luggage, clear immigration and customs, and proceed to arrival terminal. Airport and arrival terminal is small in Kathmandu, and you can easily find a person holding a placard with your name. We then transfer you to the Hotel, and all other services included as per agreed itinerary.
Yes. The climbing permit is included in the package cost and Satori will arrange the permit.
The cost of gear depends on its quality. For premium, expedition-grade equipment, the total cost can range from USD 10,000 to USD 15,000. This typically covers items such as a summit down suit (for extreme cold), high-altitude boots, sleeping bags (for both Base Camp and high camps), a sleeping pad or mat, multiple layers of clothing, and various technical items – including a harness, helmet, ice axe, crampons, carabiners, belay devices, ascenders, and other essential personal items.
The Khumbu Icefall is one of the most well-known and feared sections of the Everest route, located at an altitude of approximately 5,486 m (17,999 ft) to around 5,900 m (19,500 ft), just above Everest Base Camp and below the Western Cwm. It is formed when the glacier drops steeply from the Western Cwm towards Base Camp, creating a constantly changing maze of deep crevasses (as deep as 100m and 30m wide) and massive ice towers known as Seracs, some rising up to 30-40 meters. As part of the glacier, the icefall moves roughly 0.9 to 1.2 meters (3 to 4 feet) each day, causing the terrain to shift, crack, and reform continuously. This dangerous section stretches for about 1.5 kilometers (0.9 miles).
Due to its unstable nature, the Khumbu Icefall is considered highly technical and is the first major obstacle climbers must overcome on the south route to Everest. Despite its dangers, it is made manageable by the expert Sherpa team known as the ‘Icefall Doctors’, who install and maintain fixed ropes and ladders to create a safer passage for climbers. This section is crossed in the early morning, when ice movement is at its lowest.
Due to its height, Mount Everest is exposed to the upper troposphere, where critical atmospheric and climatic processes occur. This includes high-altitude clouds, dramatic temperature swings, high-winds exceeding sometime 160 km/h (100 mph), and sudden snowstorms that can reduce visibility to near zero. Such conditions can directly impact your climbing progress.
To ensure safety, our expert guides continuously monitor the weather and plan summit attempts during short “weather windows,” when conditions are most favorable.
Mt Everest is known for extreme cold as well as altitude. Among two popular climbing seasons viz. autumn or post-monsoon months of September and October, and Spring months of April and May, the autumn is more cold. You can expect the temperature at Base Camp around -10°C to -15°C (14°F to 5°F) to -30°C to -40°C (-22°F to -40°F) at the Camp IV or South Col characterized with extreme chill wind.
Near the summit at temperatures fall between -35°C and -60°C (-31°F to -76°F), and strong winds can make it feel as cold as -80°C (-112°F).
Mount Everest is famous not only for its height but also for its severe cold. The mountain is climbed mainly during two popular seasons: Spring (April–May) and Autumn/post-monsoon (September–October), with autumn being significantly colder.
That is why we recommend having proper equipment.
When you arrive at Base Camp, you prepare for acclimatization and may rest. Meanwhile, our staff will set up the camps. We perform a Pooja ceremony – customary Sherpa ritual to beg pardon for climbing holy Himalayas, and seek blessings of safe passage to the summit – at Base Camp.
In general, you spend about two weeks at Everest Base Camp for acclimatization rotation before starting the climbing rotation. Here at this base camp you train yourself and gain confidence in the ladders, and fixed ropes in the icefall. After this, start the first rotation of the acclimatization. You cross the Khumbu Icefall and reach to the Camp I and then to Camp II located in the Western Cwm at 6,400 m (21,000 ft). You may spend a night or two in these camps. Basically you can stay overnight in the Camp II and use Camp I as a transit camp for rest.
You will then descend down to the Base Camp and rest there for 3-5 days to gain strength, adapt in the altitude, and recover. Some climbers may choose to descend to Namche Bazaar or even take a helicopter flight to Kathmandu for couple of days to rest and recover before returning to the mountain.
In the second rotation, you climb to the Camp III at 7,200 m (≈ 23,622ft) and may stay a night or two. You can test your stamina and acclimatize above 7,000 m. You can descend to Camp II and stay few nights there. You then descend to Base Camp. This cycle may take 8-10 days and you sleep at Camp I, Camp II, Camp III progressively and come down.
Now, the week to plan for the dream at the Base Camp. You wait and monitor the weather window. Plan for the summit. During this period, you can climb and touch the Camp IV located at South Col at 7,950m (26,085 ft) and return to the Base Camp. This is the least preferred choice and not recommended for the risk and excessive fatigue reason.
While you are busy in the acclimatization rotation as mentioned earlier, our Sherpa guides will pitch camps (Camp I, II, III, IV) and will gradually ferry gears, equipment, and foods to these higher camps. You routinely climb up to the higher camps and return to Base Camp to sleep or try to sleep another night in the higher camps. This continues until the summit rotation begins.
Once your body is fully acclimatized and a favorable weather window is forecasted, the summit rotation begins. Climbers move progressively through Camps I to III, following established routes, before making the final push to the summit of Mount Everest.
From Camp III, you climb to Camp IV and rest for the rest of the later afternoon and evening. Prepare to depart in the midnight. From here, you progressively climb to the Balcony (8,400 m) and then to the South Summit, and cross the infamous Hillary step at 8,790 meters (28,838 feet) to the summit of Mount Everest in the early morning. You then descend down to the Camp II the same day.
Our Everest Expedition 2026 itinerary is designed for approximately 65 days in total. You should also allow an additional 2-4 days for international travel to and from Kathmandu, depending on your location and flight availability. So, it makes about 70 days’ trip.
Out of the 65 days, around 45 days are spent at Everest Base Camp and higher camps for the climbing and acclimatization phases. The remaining time is allocated for the trek to Everest Base Camp, essential pre-expedition preparations in Kathmandu, and post-climb rest and shopping before your departure.
This extended schedule is carefully designed to provide proper acclimatization, flexibility for weather delays, and a safer summit attempt on Mount Everest.
There’s no doubt that spring (April–May) is the best season to climb Mount Everest. In spring the brutal winter winds begin to ease, the monsoon has not yet arrived, and winter snow has compacted into firm and hard ice, making the route more stable. Sunny days help surface snow to melt and consolidate, while slightly warmer daytime temperatures reduce the risk of severe frostbite and other complexities. Visibility is usually better and snowfall lighter, and the Khumbu Icefall – one of the technical and difficult barriers – tends to be more stable for route fixing and ladder placements.
Although it can be short, spring season creates the crucial weather windows needed to attempt the summit safely. Moreover, most of the Everest expeditions take place in spring, thus logistics, fixed lines, and Sherpa support are at their strongest – further increasing safety and success rates.
Autumn (September–October) is a viable alternative for climbers, but you can expect colder conditions and a higher chance of harsh weather than in spring. Seasons outside spring generally offer fewer reliable weather windows and require extra caution.
We mention above that besides spring, autumn season is also used to climb the Everest, though not by the same number of climbers. Other two seasons in the Himalayas are prone to many challenges to operate Everest expeditions. Our monsoon season or rainy season (June-August) is characterized with frequent heavy rain and floods. Flights to Lukla, and other locations are almost impossible due to excessive rain and clouds. And, winter months of November-January is with extreme cold.
There are few winter ascents such as First Winter Ascent of 1980 (February 17) by Polish climbers Leszek Cichy and Krzysztof Wielicki. Likewise, Polish-Nepalese team led by Maciej Berbeka and Kazimierz Olech successfully summited Mount Everest in 1988.
You may be worried about crowd in the Everest expedition because of past news about Everest “traffic jams” and occasional fatalities linked to delays.
It is hard to predict the crowd for the next season right now, but with global travel rebounding after the pandemic and strong interest in Everest expeditions, climbers could again be high in the Everest. Possible policy changes from the Government of Nepal – as they are considering – or increased permit fees starting September 2025 may reduce numbers for 2026.
We want to tell you that, it is a manageable issue when handled correctly. Our summit planning is guided by rope-fixing progress, real-time weather windows, Sherpa movement, and each climber’s pace. We maintain communication with other teams, monitor the pace of climbers, and weather forecast as well as various weather windows. For added safety, we carry extra oxygen bottles, spare masks and regulators, and additional emergency supplies. These measures help reduce risk and keep your Everest expedition as safe and efficient as possible.
There is no any legal provision to climb Mount Everest either in a group or solo. However, climbing solo is generally more expensive and less safe. Our expeditions are group-joining, with carefully organized logistics and the support of highly experienced, well-trained, and reputable Sherpa guides to ensure a safe and successful summit experience.

Satori is very professional and experienced agency in 8000m peak expeditions including Mt Everest. Amazing team of Sherpas keep strong focus on safety. I recommend Satorii for all who wants to face climbing challenge on the top of the world.
Satori Adventures is one of the most professional trekking and expedition company in Nepal. They have a lot of experience and a great team which is helping you from the beginning to the end in a very prompt way. Once you try their service you will sure come again to Nepal with the same company. Thank you very much for Rishi and his staffs for a life time Experience of Trekking.
This is my third trek with Satori Adventures and a very eventful one as 2 of my friends required helicopter evacuation one day after another. Rishi the Managing Director flew in together with helicopter rescue to make sure that my friend was ok. On both occasions, the Helicopter arrived speedily and hospital admission and procedures were efficiently processed.
During the short lived trek, all of us were well looked after. The service cannot be faulted.
The guide Ganga and Rishi are no longer just service providers but welcoming friends - both very generous and big hearted.

A successful Everest expedition needs everything from an experienced and a strong Sherpa team, cooks, and other staff at the base camp, reliable and well tested equipment such as tents, ropes, high altitude stoves, wide variety of food selection inclusive of fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits, specialized high altitude food, good base camp facilities such as individual tents, clean and well maintained kitchen, dining, shower, and loo tents for the entire team and staff, brand new oxygen bottles, high quality summit masks and regulators for the climbers and Sherpa guides, a comfortable and luxury trek in and out of the base camp, and above all a strong ground operation in Kathmandu that takes care of all government formalities and paperwork, and is available to organize rescues in case of emergencies on the mountain.
Rishi and Satori adventures provided every single thing from the above list, and they went above and beyond all expectations. 6 out of 7 members made it to the top of Mt. Everest and made it back down alive. A big part of this success is due to the Satori adventures' team and organization both on and off the mountain. Rishi as the CEO of Satori adventures provided us full support throughout our Everest climb. Rishi understands how to run a big mountain expedition and deeply cares for the success and safety of all expedition members. Two of the climbers on my team required immediate helicopter evacuation from Camp two, and Rishi organized that without any delay. If you are looking to climb Everest or any of the other 8000 meter mountains in Nepal or Tibet, I would highly recommend that you go with Satori adventures. And if you are looking to do any trekking or climbing a 6000 meter or a 7000 meter mountain I would again recommend to climb with Rishi and his team. I have now been on three 8000 meter mountain expeditions and one 6000 meter mountain expedition with Rishi and his team and I have no complaints at all. Every single aspect of the expedition is very well taken care of.
Highly Highly Highly recommended!

I am very satisfied with the service received from Satori Adventure during my successful climb to Mount Everest expedition. Good food, facilities, logistic and overall organization. The entire team has been reliable, very skilled, cooperative and trustful. I would recommend Satori Adventure. Thanks to you all!
I was part of the Satori Everest/Lhotse Expedition for 2018 and joining Satori was one of the best decisions I made. I was there for 6 weeks and every facet of the expedition was well planned and taken care of by Satori. Climbing Everest is a huge logistical exercise and with Satori everything ran like clockwork. Very smooth and organized expedition. The Sherpa at Satori are vastly experienced and Mingma and Phurba and Dawa and everyone else were great. They were patient and took the time and energy to guide/educate me on the expedition. The base camp experience was a lot better because of Satori and the ground staff and the crew they hired. Absolutely awesome. They delivered everything they promised and some more on top of that. The owner Rishi is attentive and great and stayed in constant touch throughout the expedition and made sure all my needs were met. I would go with Satori again and they sure were the right company for my needs.

This was my second trip with Satori, this time to summit Mera Peak. From the very beginning I felt I was in knowledgeable and experienced hands. Rishi‘s communication was quick and his suggestions enriched our tour very much.
The two Sherpa - Rinzee and Lakpa - were very seasoned and had a couple of 8000ers under their belt. Nevertheless they brought a lot of cracking jokes to our little group, choosing excellent lodges and making the whole trip very pleasant.
I am looking forward to booking my next tour with Rishi and Satori the coming year!

There were 10 other climbers besides me on this expedition to Mt Everest and Lhotse and every one of them submitted. There could be no better proof of the efficiency and competence of Satori that they were able to take everyone that signed up to the summit. Highly recommended.
I know this company and Mr .Rishi Bhandari many years. During this time I was in many expeditions and every new expedition is proof of their professionalism . Expedition on Everest was the excellent example. It was absolutely perfect from the very beginning to the end - submitting Everest on 16th of May.
Rishi is absolutely amassing leader, ready to help his clients in any time and any situation. Team of Sherpa , lead by Mingma Temba Sherpa, is one of the best in Himalaya. Same should i say about base camp and kitchen staff.
This year was not simple on Everest , but our expedition went absolutely smoothly, without any problems. thanks to Rishi and his brilliant team. Thank you guys for perfect expedition, wonderful 2 month and summit of Everest. See you next spring
I have known about Satori since 2016 and finally signed up for this years everest expedition. Dan and Rishi are the best to work with on all aspects of the climb of this magnitude. This company has great leaders along with all the staff they hire from the Sherpas to cooks , base camp accommodations, n helpers you name it they got it covered. I appreciate Dan and Rishi for all the support and guidance they have given me throughout all the stages of my expedition. I am signing up for 2020 North side Everest expedition with them again not only because of the knowledge they both have of the climb logistics etc. but because they actually truly cared for me even after the show is all over. Thanks again guys and see you soon.

Another incredible expedition from Satori!
I’ve been using these guys for years and they never fail to impress. Everything ran perfectly. The food at base camp and above was delicious and plentiful. All of the equipment used was of the best quality. Our tents at base camp were enormous with enough room to stand up and walk around in. The Sherpa team are top notch and extremely experienced.
One of the reasons I initially started to use Satori is that the accommodate my vegan diet perfectly and this trip was no exception.
Safety is also of the upmost importance. Not only did we have at least a 1:1 Sherpa support but there was also additional Sherpas on the summit push with additional oxygen ready for any emergency situations, something that not many other companies do. The weather updates we were getting throughout the whole trip were very accurate and seemed to be more reliable than other teams. The owner is also a lovely guy and puts client safety/satisfaction above everything else.
Can’t wait for next year!!
For me selecting a guide/logistics provider for my Everest climb was a big decision. I spent lot of time shopping around and asking ton of questions to company such as Satori and even friends who had climbed Everest in past. Mr Rishi the owner has had an open communication from the very first email I sent him and had answered every single question. He is hands on and gives lot of importance on climbers safety and their needs. Takes good care while you are in Kathmandu!
Satori also has a very very strong Sherpa team, their experience, expertise and decision making is absolutely amazing. Kitchen staff and Head chef took great care while at base camp, made amazing food, I actually ended up gaining weight through out this expedition, which is rare, climbers normally loose around 10-15kgs. One of the climbers on my team required immediate helicopter evacuation from Camp two. With help of lead Sherpa and Rishi we were able to get her evacuated within hours and possibly saving her life.
Base camp facilities were great and super comfortable, with personal tents, clean toilet tents, on-demand hot showers, well stocked dinning tents with various snacks, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, solar and gas generated power supply. I wish Satori had dome tent for lounging like most other teams but besides that there was no real complaints. Everyone from the Porters to Kitchen Staff to Sherpa team to the owner himself, they all went above and beyond to make this expedition memorable.I was able to safely and successfully climb Lobuche East, Everest and Lhotse with Satori in Spring 2022. I strongly recommend them for Treks and climbs in Nepal.
I had the opportunity to climb Everest and Lhotse with Satori Adventure. Some of my friends had climbed with them and suggested Satori to me. Satori also has a very strong Sherpa team, with incredible experience, skill, and decision-making abilities. While in base camp, the kitchen team and head chef took excellent care of the food. Personal tents, clean toilet tents, on-demand hot showers, well-stocked dinning tents with various munchies, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and solar and gas powered power supplies were all provided. Everyone on the excursion, from the porters to the kitchen staff to the Sherpa team to the owner himself, went above and beyond to make this expedition memorable. In the spring of 2023, I was able to safely and successfully ascend Lobuche East, Everest, and Lhotse with Satori and summit Mt Everest and Mt Lohtse back to back in 23 hrs.I highly suggest suggest them for trekking and climbing in Nepal.
Satori is very professional and experienced agency in 8000m peak expeditions including Mt Everest. Amazing team of Sherpas keep strong focus on safety. I recommend Satorii for all who wants to face climbing challenge on the top of the world.
